Youth Ministries Blessing, Sunday, September 13, 2026

As we celebrate 125 years of Annunciation, this past Sunday beautifully reflected the faith, traditions, and love that have shaped our parish for generations and continue to live on through our children.

From our youth participating in the Procession of the Holy Cross to our welcome-back Agiasmos with Fr. John, and the joy of welcoming our children back for the first day of Catechism, the day was filled with moments that reminded us of what makes our parish so special. Seeing our classrooms filled with smiling faces was truly a blessing!

Following Divine Liturgy, our PTO hosted a special buffet in honor of Annunciation’s 125th Anniversary, bringing our parish family together for food, fellowship, and celebration.

For 125 years, generations of families have walked through the doors of Annunciation, prayed, learned, and celebrated together, and have passed our Orthodox faith and Greek heritage to their children. On Sunday, we were blessed to see that legacy continue before our eyes. What a beautiful blessing it is to look around our church and see so many familiar faces alongside so many little faces who represent our parish's future.

Glory to God for our beautiful Annunciation family, and for 125 years of faith, tradition, and generations growing together!

Sincerely,

Afrodite (Effie) Patounas
