CURRENT AND UPCOMING COUNCIL OF MINISTRIES EVENTS

Dear Annunciation Evangelismos Ministry Leaders,
 
ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ ΑΝΕΣΤΗ! CHRIST IS RISEN!
 
Fr. John and I are pleased to invite you to our Annual Parish Calendar Meeting on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. In addition to coordinating the '26–'27 master church calendar, we'd also like to take time at this meeting to get a sense of each ministry's fundraising plans for the year — so we can be thoughtful about spacing and ensure our parishioners are able to give their best support to every ministry.
 
To prepare for our meeting, please:
 
  1. Compile a detailed listing of your ministry's proposed activities for '26–'27, including each event's name, desired date(s), facility needs and any preparatory sessions or setup dates requiring space.
  2. Submit your proposed calendar in Word format (doc/docx) to George Dalagelis at office@anngoc.org by Monday, June 8, so he can compile a working master calendar in advance of our meeting.
  3. If your ministry has any fundraising events planned, please come prepared to share a brief overview — nothing formal, just a general sense of timing and scope so we can calendar everything thoughtfully.
A few important notes:
  • This meeting is in person only. It is imperative that each ministry leader, or at least one authorized representative, be present.
  • Youth Ministries, please coordinate your key events among yourselves before June 17. We will review all youth programming together at the meeting.
  • Please consult our online calendar at https://www.anngoc.org/service_schedule as you develop your proposals.
  • All proposed events and fundraisers remain tentative until we review and finalize them together on June 17.

PARISH LIFE ANNUAL REPORTS

We present our Annual Report to our community yearly at our parishioners' Spring General Assembly. We use this report to express our heartfelt gratitude to our parishioners for your generosity and trust. As the report highlights, your generous gifts enable our ministerial work here and beyond our parish.

 

 

PURPOSE
The Priest and the Parish Council established the Council of Ministries, which is responsible for supporting current ministries and helping to create new ones based on community initiatives. It acts as a communication, recruitment, and accountability link between the ministries and the Priest and Parish Council.
The Council of Ministries assists members in matching their gifts with appropriate ministries to honor God's glory. We focus on sharing information about Annunciation's ministries, including basic details about each and their roles in our mission.
The Council of Ministries comprises the leaders of each ministry. We meet quarterly to report to the Parish Council and coordinate our activities.
