Annual Vasilopita Blessing & Sharing, Sunday, January 11, 2026

Dear Ministry Leaders:

On behalf of Fr. John, I would like to invite you to our Annual Vasilopita Blessing & Sharing on Sunday, January 11, after the divine liturgy.
Join us in celebrating St. Basil the Great's legacy of selfless service and dedication to God and those in need.
As servant leaders of our church ministries, you are invited to the solea to receive a slice of the vasilopita from Fr. John on behalf of your ministry.
Inspired by St. Basil's example, let us embrace our sacred mission as Annunciation Church ministry leaders. As we receive our blessed slice of vasilopita, let us take this opportunity to commit to sharing our blessings with those in need throughout the year.
For ministries with shared leadership or those unable to attend, please designate a representative to receive the vasilopita piece.
 
Following the vasilopita service, our Philoptochos invites everyone to a home-cooked breakfast, with proceeds benefiting Saint Basil's Academy. Please sign up here.

Parish Council President and Council of Ministries Coordinator

PURPOSE

The Priest and the Parish Council formed the Council of Ministries, which is responsible for supporting existing ministries and helping establish new ones based on community initiatives. It serves as a channel for communication, recruitment, and accountability between the ministries and the Priest and Parish Council.

The Council of Ministries helps members align their gifts with suitable ministries for God's glory. We focus on sharing information about Annunciation's ministries, including basic details on each and their role in our mission.

PARTICIPANTS

The Council of Ministries comprises the leaders of each ministry. We meet quarterly to report to the Parish Council and coordinate our activities.
