The Readers Ministry invites all parishioners to volunteer their reading skills during the Holy Week services. Please notify our cantor, George Dalagelis, of the date and service you'd like to join. Click on Today's Services below to view the complete service texts for each day.
April 4, Saturday of Lazarus

8:30 a.m. ORTHROS & DIVINE LITURGY
- Our Philoptochos will clean and decorate the church for Palm Sunday
- Youth Palms & Pancakes and Lazarakia making
- Fr. John will be available for the Sacrament of Holy Confession for our youth (see poster below)
- Our GOYAns will assemble the Holy Friday luminaries
April 5, Palm Sunday
- 8:30 a.m. ORTHROS & DIVINE LITURGY. Blessing of the palms. All Sunday School children will participate in the procession and blessing of the palms
- Our Parish Council invites all to our Palm Sunday community fish luncheon
- 7 p.m. ORTHROS OF GREAT MONDAY. “Behold the Bridegroom is coming...”

April 9, Holy Thursday
- 10 a.m. VESPERS & DIVINE LITURGY OF ST. BASIL. Last Supper & washing of disciples’ feet
- Our Philoptochos will dye the paschal eggs
- 7 p.m. ORTHROS OF GREAT FRIDAY. The Lord’s Holy Passion is told in the twelve gospel readings
April 10, Holy Friday
- 10 a.m. THE ROYAL HOURS OF THE HOLY PASSION
- Our Philoptochos will decorate the Epitaphios
- 10:30 a.m. Holy Friday Youth Retreat (see poster below)
- 3 p.m. GREAT FRIDAY VESPERS. The Un-nailing from the Cross. Girls 8 -12 years old will participate as myrrh-bearers (see poster below)
- 7 p.m. ORTHROS OF GREAT SATURDAY. Encomia (praises) & the procession of the Epitaphios. Girls 8 -12 years old will participate as myrrh-bearers
April 11, Holy Saturday
- 10 a.m. VESPERS & DIVINE LITURGY OF ST. BASIL. Christ’s Descent into Hades
- 10 p.m. VIGIL, ORTHROS & DIVINE LITURGY OF THE RESURRECTION
- Community paschal breakfast follows
April 12, Holy and Great Pascha
- 11 a.m. AGAPE VESPERS. Gospel reading in various languages
- Easter Egg Hunt for children follows
