2020-2021 Annunciation Church Youth Ministry Registration (Fully virtual until further notice)
Purpose
The Annunciation Elkins Park Greek School was founded in 1901, as a youth ministry of the Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Community of Philadelphia. The program strives to implement the educational aims and goals of the Charter of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and the decisions of the Clergy-Laity Congresses. Our mission is to instruct children in the modern Greek language, instill a sense of pride and respect for Hellenic heritage and history, promote the values of our faith, and encourage fellowship among Greek Orthodox families and church communities.
Class levels are Pre-K - Level 6. Students must be 4 years old by September 1 of the current year. Please see our Greek School Brochure and Registration Form above for further information. Courses are taught by teachers who are fluent in Greek. The program covers the study of Greek language, history, culture, geography, music, as well as the Greek Orthodox faith.
- Fully virtual classes start on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, 5 pm.
